Story
Faced with an ork invasion of Piscina IV, the 3rd Company of the Dark Angels believes the threat to be minimal. As enemy numbers continue to increase, their commander, Captain Belial, insists that his Company are strong enough to resist. But Scout-Sergeant Naaman knows just how dangerous this foe can be, and when a renewed offensive takes the Dark Angels by surprise, the orks swarm towards Kadillus Harbour.

The general narration is ok, but the highly stylized manner in which the dialog between the dark angels is preformed really detracts from the experience for me. I much prefer the more pragmatic and grimdark portrayal of space marines by someone like Toby Longworth over the highly embellished and almost caricature-like portrayal.

Unexpected and delightful

I’ve listened to a lot of 40k audio books, like a lot. This narrator isn’t my favorite but ends up making sense for the main character and grew on me.
In my opinion the story has a bit of a slow start but really delivers with “is this really happening?” memorable events the later acts.

Zero real content

2 hours into the Six Sigma portion of it I finally realized that I'm simply listening to a restructuring or restating of the same very basic concept over and over. there is no practical information or real knowledge to be learned if you are looking to become educated on the topic of Six Sigma. this book feels like a scam
