Story
For Delilah Sinclair, catching a man's attention has never been a problem. It's the part that comes later - the happily-ever-after part - that always seems to trip her up. All her friends may be settling down, but this fiery redhead has no intentions of ever being tamed...Until she meets a man just as wild. Luca "Blaze" Buchanan is the best fighter to come out of Boston in years. Men want to be him, women want to be with him, and no one smart ever bets against him.

90% of what is in the character’s head
Reviewed: 01-31-25
I would literally get lost in the storyline because we spent 90% of the book and the characters head. The author would come out of her thoughts and into Reality in storyline…… I would have no clue what was going on. I gave up not even chapter 2.

What happened you had all the ingredients…..
Reviewed: 04-08-24
A third of the way through the book the plot falls apart. The end of the book is horrible. Spoiler alert: why does it fall apart at the end no details no epilogue. I felt like they had quite the story in so many details. They just let it fall.
Halfway through the book, I would’ve told you this was a five star.

This concept had a originality. Character development was great narrator was awesome. Overall storyline fell a little flat in the middle. Seems like they lost golf Romance, whereas in the beginning chapter, it had a great balance. Wish they had kept that balance throughout.
Would’ve been a 10 out of 10

Why did Audible do this? Why did they make it different from the others?
Reviewed: 06-28-23
This dramatic juxtaposition from the production of the other two before it’s distracting. Over done and not for me it takes away from the book.

Story
Pretty, flighty Daisy Devreaux can either go to jail or marry the mystery man her father has chosen for her. Arranged marriages don't happen in the modern world, so how did the irrepressible Daisy find herself in this fix? Alex Markov, as humorless as he is deadly handsome, has no intention of playing the loving bridegroom to a spoiled little feather-head with champagne tastes. He drags Daisy from her uptown life to a broken down traveling circus and sets out to tame her to his ways.

I hate when drama in a book revolves around misunderstandings. So that’s the only reason why I did not give this a five star. Susan Elizabeth Phillips cannot do wrong.

My cheating ex has me swearing off men. Until Lewis comes along, stealing my breath and my good sense. I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six-and-a-half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways. The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it.

Why do you create such weak female characters. Why do you condone not going to the police and reporting. Why must It escalate...? The storyline is thin the situations are not flushed out. It’s horrible advice for women. There’s so much in this book that disturbs me.
