Weir does it again. The story is believable & internally consistent. I'm eagerly awaiting his next book.

Great story! It was believable and gripping. Having problems arise during the time on Mars made it a much better story (I hate survival stories where everything miraculously goes perfectly.)

Wil Wheaton, the narrator, did a fabulous job. An actor with a recognizable voice could have been a problem (Wesley Crusher of Star Trek TNG reading The Martian), but wasn't. I heard Mark Watney throughout the book, not Wesley and that added to my enjoyment.

Some humor mixed with solid science & internal consistency. Worth buying & the next in the series also.
