My new fave for a rainy day!
Revisado: 08-31-16
This books hits all my fluff and sap buttons. And I love it! Bossy and cheeky and low angst and hot sex! When you want a HEA, light listen, this is it. It's not an insta-love story but almost. Just enough angst to carry the story and thank gawd there is no "miscommunication" story line. (I am so over those!) There are no real surprises in this story, but I fell in love with Ed and Alec and their banter. After my 3rd listen, I bought the book.
For once we have a strong bottom who believes in himself and isn't willing to settle for less. And a strong top who needs someone to lean on. This has become my favorite rainy day read.
The narrator does a pretty good job. There were a couple of times I wasn't sure which character was speaking, but easy enough to figure out.
Any book that can make me laugh and get me hot is a winner for me.

A rollercoaster of a read!
Revisado: 08-18-16
I know what you are thinking, "A ripoff of Jurassic Park, but with dragons." Well yes. And no. I truly enjoyed Jurrasic Park and it's sequel. It was entertaining and thought provoking. Well, The Great Zoo of China won't give you chaos theory and DNA lessons but it will give you jam packed excitement and thrills. Just sit back, let your imagination out, and enjoy the ride.
If you enjoy going to action flicks where you are not worried about the story and just want excitement, then this book is for you.
Rich Orlow did a great job with narration and in making all the characters distinctive enough that I didn't ever wonder who was talking. The main character was a female and it never bothered me that the narrator was male.
