Fascinating story

I liked the idea of the story. I liked the ending. There were so many peaks of suspense that I had to finish the book. I would even read a "part two".
But there were some parts I skipped. At some parts of the storyI found that too much info was given. I wanted to go to the end to find out what happens.
Otherwise, I world recommend this book to anyone that wanted a fantasy suspense read.

In Drawing Near, John Bevere invites listeners to explore a life of intimacy with God. Emphasizing the need for obedience, he urges us to practice - just as we would practice anything we hope to improve—our communication with the Holy Spirit. Understanding that prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue, Bevere encourages us to listen at the Father's feet.

This book had so much meaty info about how and why to draw near to God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. My favorite and most helpful parts where about speaking in tongues. I'm recommending this book to everyone - new and seasoned saints.

Although there were many great nuggets of info, this book was difficult for me to finish. I think it would have been better to read slowly and with a notebook or study guide. I think I would recommend this book, but with caution, that it's full of information.

This book and the other two in this series were really good. I loved the way I was reminded of Jesus' love for me.
At the end of every chapter I was left wondering, "what's going to happen next?"
I would recommend this book to anyone.

Reviewed: 02-24-19
I've always cringed at Bible stories retold, but this book was perfect in providing a reasonable background story to Ester. Even though I've read the book of Ester numerous times, I was on the edge of my seat to hear what would happen next.
Besides the unusually long pauses within the chapters, the narrators did a good job.

When I first saw a clip on Facebook about Charity Water, I was drawn to the organization and founder. I wanted to know more. I was hesitant and ready to be disappointed by yet another 'Feed the Hungry' org. A quick Google search exposed mostly positive comments and a few obvious haters.
I'm so glad I listened to Scott read Thirst! His passion and integrity showed throughout the book. Scott's story was transparent and sincere. I enjoyed hearing his perspective and his feelings on his major life events. I am inspired! I want to do more! I will do more!
Thank you Scott!

Story
The history of Guinness, one of the world's most famous brands, reveals the noble heights and generosity of a great family and an innovative business. It began in Ireland in the mid-1700s. The water in Ireland, indeed throughout Europe, was famously undrinkable, and the gin and whiskey that took its place devastated civil society. It was a disease-ridden, starvation-plagued, alcoholic age.
