Story
On a freezing February day, a stranger emerges from out of the gray to request a room at a local provincial inn. Who is this out-of-season traveler? More confounding is the thick mask of bandages obscuring his face. Why does he disguise himself in this manner and keep himself hidden away in his room? Aroused by trepidation and curiosity, the local villagers bring it upon themselves to find the answers.

I was hoping for a profound message. Nope.

It is just a story about a guy who turns himself invisible. Its nice but I was hoping there would be a deep meaning to it. Oh well.

Story
George Orwell depicts a gray, totalitarian world dominated by Big Brother and its vast network of agents, including the Thought Police - a world in which news is manufactured according to the authorities' will and people live tepid lives by rote. Winston Smith, a hero with no heroic qualities, longs only for truth and decency. But living in a social system in which privacy does not exist and where those with unorthodox ideas are brainwashed or put to death, he knows there is no hope for him.

I read this for the first time over 20 years ago. I dare say I enjoyed this audio version. I consider this to be the most important book I have ever read. I bought a hard copy for my children to read though I'm afraid that may never happen. Good luck world.

After reading the first book and seeing how much was in it, I was skeptical about finding new information in this volume. I'm glad I listened. I will be picking up the next book in the series also. I feel like Neo from "The Matrix" downloading programs for eight hours straight!

Story
Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

I got my first relationship red pill about 4 years ago. I came across Richard’s work soon after. This book and others in the community have helped me through my divorce and helped even handle the shame of letting your life spin out of control. As a middle aged “Brotha from another mother” I have learned that it is never too late to reclaim your balls.
