Story
With the invasion of Earth handled, and an enemy Chosen now targeting him, Jake makes his final push for C-grade… A final push that includes refining one last skill before he evolves. Once that’s done, all he needs is a few more levels and to finish off his bucket list of vanities before it’s time to evolve. The evolution itself will have no surprises, right?

Absolutely loved this book, great character development and getting some more insight into what’s happening above Jake’s level. “The gods fight” cannot wait for the next one to come out

I love the character building, it seems to get a little confusing with all of the branches, seeds, etc.
basically the power system is not very intuitive but it’s easy enough to follow along and enjoy

Story
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move. Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals.

Honestly dissapointed

This is by far my favorite series, and I have listened to thousands of audiobooks.
And as hard as it is to say this was my least favorite book of the series, it seemed like the entire book was the main characters being depressed. I understand they all have issues and pushing through those is what makes them who they are.... but this book was 90% depressed people and 10% story... at least that’s how I received it.

This book was great, I recommend the whole series, and the dogs voice in this made me LOL, I had to listen to many parts repeatedly due to this.

This book continued the story just right, it had a great blend of tragedy and excitement to keep the book interesting, but not all puppys and rainbows.

This was an addicting book, i started this and had to continue with the whole series. The basis for the magic system was great, and completely imaginative. Well done!
