What I enjoy most about his books are the colorful details and characters. The plot didn’t add up at the end and left more questions then answers.

This book was over all good. Besides for the mother not actually being a mother. The ending was no ending at all.

Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

I really enjoyed this book. The story and the atmosphere where perfectly described. The only thing that bothered me was Huckles accent. I’ve never meet anyone from Virginia with such a deep
Southern accent like that. Besides that very charming.

I found myself so distracted by the horrible narration that I couldn't connect as well with the actual story. Very disappointing but still over all a fascinating story for a fascinating life.
