Story
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

I almost didn't get this book because of some of the reviews out there... First of all, to those people who feel that Miles is acting self centered and only thinking of himself, I'd like to see how you'd act in his situation. This is only the second book by Coleen Hoover I've read but I already love her style. Where have I've been? I feel like I've been living under a rock until now and just came out, I will definitely get all her books now! The male narrator was a bit over the top sometimes, his reading sounded like the beginning of star wars and made me want to skip Miles' parts of the book. The story is very interesting, raw, and realistic which is all I ever ask for in a book.

I got this book because I was in the mood to read a romance. I wasn't expecting much, just hoping the story would not be something completely cheesy and unrealistic. What a pleasant surprise I got. I won't pretend to know much about writing, I'm not an expert in good or bad writing, what I am is a reader(listener) and this story wrapped me up from beginning to end. It is so well told that I understood every decision Lily made, even the ones I didn't agree with. It is also very insightful for those of us who haven't lived through a similar situation and has a powerful message for those who have, are, or know someone who is. If you're thinking about getting this book, don't think again, get it! You won't regret spending the credit.

Story
Soon-to-be college freshman Evie Claremont had hoped that once she'd arrived on Crestwood's campus, the nightmare that she'd been having would go away. It hasn't. She may be an inexperienced 17-year-old, but she's grounded... sane. She looks for rational explanations to even the strangest circumstances. Since meeting sophomore Reed Wellington, however, nothing makes any sense. Whenever he's near, she feels an attraction to him - a magnetic kind of force pulling her toward him.

Disappointed- I really wanted to like it
Reviewed: 08-29-17
What did you like best about Inescapable? What did you like least?
I really loved Amy Bartol's Kricket series and also her new book Secondborn so I decided to go back and listen to her premonition series while I wait on her next Secondborn book. I was really disappointed, I noticed that the storyline had similarities with the twilight series which made me roll my eyes a few times. Also, the explanations given to tie loose ends were not very convincing and sometimes did not completely explain why something did or did not happen. I was so annoyed with the story in the end that I decided not to get the other books in this series for fear of waisting my credits.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
I rolled my eyes, how come nobody mentioned anything about the two girls? Also, all the withholding of information once she knew what she was had no credible purpose.
What does Emily Woo Zeller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The different voices and nuances of each character.
Did Inescapable inspire you to do anything?
Yes, to abandon the series! It's a shame because I was really looking forward to this series. I'm glad I found Amy's next series first or I would've given up on her 😬
Any additional comments?
If you decide to give this book a chance and end up annoyed with it, please don give up on Amy Bartol, the Kricket and Secondborn series are much much better. I really hope she goes back and writes more books about the Kricket world and can't wait for the next Secondborn book.

Another great story by Amy Bartol! I can't wait for the next book. I was hoping she'd continue the Kricket series because I loved that world. This world is just as fascinating though and the story shows a lot of promise.

This series do get better!!!
Reviewed: 09-15-15
I confess I almost gave up on reading this book series after the first book. I kept waiting to see some of the assassin's fierceness in Celaena and all I saw was a silly, shallow girl with a sad past. I knew there had to be more to her though, more to her story than her having to choose between two guys and to try to free herself from a tyrant. I'm glad I wasn't wrong! From about the middle of the book, the story starts to get interesting and by the end of it, I couldn't wait to start the next book (I'm glad I decided to keep listening) when I was looking for something to listen to, I read the reviews of all the books and most of them say that the next two books are better than the first two. I can't wait to listen to them!

Story
Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear.

Another Great chapter in Eva and Gideon's life!
Reviewed: 04-23-15
I loved that there were chapters written from Gideon's point of view! That was actually my favorite part. I wasn't so disappointed this time around to not get closure because I knew there would be another book (I didn't get the book right when it came out, Instead I waited to read the reviews) I enjoyed this one for what it was, just another chapter in Eva and Gideon's life.

I was looking for something different to read and this was the perfect story! Loved the paranormal touch (which I believe is very plausible) and that the story is set in the future as well. I am a big fan of dystopian future worlds and I'm always looking for the next good story to listen to. Of course the love stories were the cherry on top!

Disappointing
Reviewed: 10-25-13
What disappointed you about Allegiant?
The argument of the story is weak and uninspiring. There were a lot of times I found myself trying to get on board with it and failing.
Would you ever listen to anything by Veronica Roth again?
Maybe, but I'd reserve my right to return it.
Which scene was your favorite?
The love scenes between tris and four
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment because I waited so long for the conclusion to a great story just to find out the story had changed and sadness because the author fell short of doing the first book justice.
Any additional comments?
Emma Galvin was great as usual. I am not just another fan, upset about how the book ends. Mockingjay is one of my favorite books even though it doesn't have a fairy tale ending either. What this book lacks is inspiration, I believe the author needed more time to think the plot lines through.
