Best book in the series yet
Reviewed: 09-12-24
I’ve enjoyed this series thus far, but this book is easily Michael’s best work yet, IMHO. Recommend you keep going if you’re not sure whether to continue or not, and if you haven’t started the series, you won’t be disappointed!

Story
With the south in full rebellion, the goblins stirring on the northern frontier, and the summer capital being run by a corrupt baron and a gang of thugs, things could be better. But those aren’t the worst of her problems: Pentandra is learning how to live with her new husband, Arborn, while the town is driven to distraction by an incarnate sex goddess who is organizing all of the whores, a mopey spellmonger, a nun addicted to gambling, a prude sent by the queen, undead skulking through the shadows, and a mysterious blind girl shows up in her office claiming to be her new apprentice.

Another great addition to the saga

Despite a few slow moments and somewhat of a backtrack to the story, this entry provides a great alternative perspective and a lively and entertaining portrayal of life in the Spellmonger universe. Definitely worth the listen.

A must read/listen for anyone thinking about venture financing
Reviewed: 05-25-20
Hands down the best, most useful, and actionable business book I’ve ever read that wasn’t assigned reading during an MBA, although I’m sure some MBA Programs make this required reading now (if not they should).
Do yourself a favor. Read this if you’re thinking about financing for your startup.

Story
Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster. Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee - a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover - a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite Sci-Fi series

This book was pure action and I loved every minute of it. Book two introduced some new characters that you can’t help but love, and others you love to hate. The story lines are coming together and you won’t be disappointed. Also, most probably know this already but RC Bray is always fantastic and this is no exception. Hooah!
