I loved all that Stormi found herself getting into. For someone who pretty much stayed at home, she found herself involved in a murder and coming up with ways to find out who did it. She soon teams up with her mom and the local cop to try to draw out the killer using everything from the neighborhood watch to to taking food to neighbors. Look forward to the next one.

I could not go through what Mercy did. She gave up everything and still kept her sweet helpful nature. She had people looking down on her just because of where she was born, but did not let that stop her. She was able to find the best in her circumstances and I loved how it all turned out.
Mercy finds herself on a bride ship as she is trying to get out of a bad situation. While on the voyage over, she finds herself helping others, a carry over from her previous life. She was able to make the long voyage from London to British Columbia more bearable for many on the ship.
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in the series.

Searching for You is the third book in the Orphan Train Series. While it helps to have read the first two, it is not necessary.
Sophie finds herself running again and trying to take care of herself and two children that she thinks of as her own. She joins a train going west and finds her plans changed as she travels away from the city and the life she has there.
I was glad to find out more of what has happens with the characters in the book and seeing how they have to work at what is best for what everyone and not just for what they want.

Rosalind is a real pioneer. I admire how she has a job and passion that is not normally associated with women, but have noticed this theme in many of Camden's books. She is willing to put what she knows to good use, no matter what.
Nicholas is not too happy to have to work with Rosalind, but soon finds himself listening to what she has to say even if he is still a bit weary of her techniques.
I really liked seeing their relationship grow and how they learned that even if they did not always agree, that listening to one another did have merit.

I had the pleasure of listening to this book and I really liked the way that you could tell what character was talking by the different voices used by the narrator. The story itself had many twists and turns and did not end the way I thought it would. Even though it is a short story that I was able to finish while doing work around the house, it still packed much information. I would be pulling for one character and then there would be a twist. I would recommend this book to read or listen to. It is a quick listen/read and was very enjoyable.
