Story
Unbeknownst to him, Ray is about to partake on an adventure filled with magical beasts, warring factions, and a leveling-up system out of this world. He'll encounter filthy bandits, musty crypts, and friendly werewolves. Oh, you heard us right. If only he wasn't given negative charisma points around women, he might have a chance, but you can't win them all.

Story
The ancient magic of wizards was anything but dark. It was the enlightenment that lifted humanity from the squalor of superstition, and the worship of fell spirits and capricious gods, but those days are gone. The shining glory of the sorcerers burned away the subtlety of wisdom, replacing it with easy power, held only in the hands of the elite - a new age built upon the elemental supremacy of aristocrats and the ignorance of the masses.

Story
Book two of the Stormlight Archive. From the best-selling author who completed Robert Jordan's epic Wheel of Time series comes an original new creation that matches anything else in modern fantasy for epic scope, thrilling imagination, superb characters, and sheer addictiveness. Return to a planet swept by apocalyptic storms, a world tipping into war as aristocratic families move to control the shard blades and shard plates, ancient artifacts from a past civilisation that can win wars.

This is my third re-read and, This is still one of my favourite books. Everytime Andrew releases a new book in this world, I go back and re-read everything starting from this book and then Six Sacred Swords, then Defying Destiny and then Diamantine. I binged Diamantine and finished it in about a day and a half after it came out. ( It was that Amazing!) Now that I have re-read this, I will now re-read. The Six Sacred Swords, Defying Destiny and then diamante again. And hopefully by the time im done. The next book by Andrew Rowe will be out. (Fingers crossed)

I am In shock!
Reviewed: 07-08-20
When I started this book, my excitement was immeasurable. And now that I have finished it, I have somehow transcended excitement and now I feel as though I am emotionally invested in the characters and the world of these books, to the point that I will probably think about them daily, and wonder if they are alright. This story is but a piece in one of he best stories I have ever read. It is starting to feel as though everything really is connected and coming together. Everything from The War Of Broken Mirrors, to Arcane Ascension, is starting to feel more connected, and the next book whatever it may be, will be even more engaging now that we are somewhat aware of what is going on. But there are still very many questions yet to be answered, and I am sure it will only get more interesting moving forward. Thank you Andrew Rowe, Thank you Podium Publishing, Thank You Nick Podehl, Thank You Audible and Thank you to everyone that makes these books possible. You have my gratitude.

Bloody Aes Sedai and their pride
Reviewed: 06-26-20
First of all Aes Sedai are most infuriating, self centered, overconfident, ignorant and hateful group of women to ever draw breath in any world the has ever to ever exist. And the irritating thing is that they are not weak, oh no they are only the most powerful group of people in the whole world. (sigh) And now Rand has to somehow get them off their high horse and get them to fight under one banner... Safe to say it doesn't go well. People say that this book is slow paced. But I would say it's paced similarly to the other books it's just different types of problems that they are dealing with. All in all I would recommend this to anyone.

Endings & Beginnings
Reviewed: 04-16-20
When I first started reading books in this universe I began with "Sufficiently Advanced Magic" and then I read "On The Shoulders Of Titans" after that I read "Six Sacred Swords" all while putting off this series because I wasn't sure it was in the same Universe. But eventually I caved. And read "Stealing Sorcery." And Immediately it was evident that it was not quite as good as the other books that I had read, But I stuck with it because it was Andrews first book in this universe and I must admit it was intriguing. And I thank God for whatever force of will made me keep reading because by the end I NEEDED MORE. And because I had put it off for so long "Forging Divinity" Was right there calling my name "Come to me and satisfy your curiosity Joshua" (She said to me in my head). So I immediately started reading it (after eating something of course, because I had been reading for a while...) And the same thing happened I needed more. Now that I have finally read this book, I must say It is by far the most informative book in all that I have read so far. You learn about things that we have been theorising for years, you learn a bit about Aayara (The Lady Of Thieves) and even though she doesn't fight in this book you get the impression that she is terrifyingly powerful. And a bit about her brother Jacinth (The Black stone Assassin) who is equally (if not more) powerful. You also learn about Taelien and what he may or may not be (RAFO). Also we finally get to meet the legendary Wrynn Jaden and go on a bit of an adventure with her. From what I have seen Keras was right, She probably isn't dead in AA. We will learn more in later books. Now to summarise my review. (Before I spoil everything.) This series is a must if you intend to read future books in this world. It provides incredible insight on things that may be confusing in the future, and it also gives you a look at foreign sorcery, gods, religion and politics. Now that we are at the end of this series it is sad to see it go, but all the characters are still around and we will definitely see them again in the future. And there are some characters that we have yet to see. So technically it is an ending but it is also the beginning to everything. And If you think the vae'kes are dangerous. There is something coming that threatens to destroy the whole world and as of right now... There is no one powerful enough to stop him. (Thank you so much for the Incredible story Andrew. I cant wait for what is to come)

Something Has Begun
Reviewed: 04-01-20
Something has begun in the world and as of right now it is a mystery. But since we are only just beginning our journey. What we are led to believe is that no one knows what is going on. I do not fully believe this, however since this is only the beginning of this story and we don't know much, I will restrain my theorising and hold myself to only saying this. We are at the beginning of a potentially amazing journey.
