Historia
The Titanic collided with an iceberg on the night of April 14, and 1,500 people died in the freezing waters as the ship met her watery grave. Spectacular in many ways, it's a story that has spurred legends and still sends shivers down the spine a century later. This minute-by-minute account of the sinking is based on over 20 years of research and offers amazing detail of that fateful night.

A Classic tale.
Revisado: 07-25-23
The first book telling the tale of Titanic, her crew and passengers. Its is a very well put togheter. Not much of a pre-story though. It starts more or less with the callout from the crowsnest.

Historia
When the obituary of legendary computer game architect Matthew Sobol appears online, a previously dormant daemon activates, initiating a chain of events that begins to unravel our interconnected world. This daemon reads news headlines, recruits human followers, and orders assassinations. With Sobol’s secrets buried with him, and as new layers of his daemon are unleashed, it’s up to Detective Peter Sebeck to stop a self-replicating virtual killer before it achieves its ultimate purpose - one that goes far beyond anything Sebeck could have imagined.

Over the top
Revisado: 07-24-22
It is a good story, entertaining and exciting. The author has a good grasp on "tech tribal language" but for some this might be too much techie and boring. Some logical/plot errors. It turns into a splatter at the end with body parts flying around and people losing heads, arms, legs etc. This was a bit over the top and unnecessary - to please the young audience I guess?
I was planing on getting the next book in the series , but because of the above and beyond graphical violence described in the "splatter" section I will not. Did not like that part at all, I was expecting a technological thriller not Saw..

Historia
Never is an extraordinary novel, full of heroines and villains, false prophets and elite warriors, jaded politicians and opportunistic revolutionaries. It brims with cautionary wisdom for our times, and delivers a visceral, heart-pounding story that transports listeners to the brink of the unimaginable.

Inaccuracies and a huge gallery of characters.
Revisado: 11-14-21
This is a good story, ruined by inaccuracies and a huge gallery of characters. Many parallel stories and the number of people involved makes it difficult to keep track of everything that is going on.
Inaccuracies in the description of weapons, military practices and routines destroy realism. The whole point of this book is to show that small mistakes made by powerful people can have catastrophic consequences. However, the mistakes made by the political and military leaders in this book are far too great to be credible, which in turn destroys realism even more. Merd!

It’s 1914. The Great War grips the world - and from the Western Front a strange story emerges...a story of St. George and a brigade of angels descending from heaven to fight beside the beleaguered British troops. But can there be any truth to it?

I liked it!
Revisado: 01-23-21
Don't expect a life altering experience, but it is an entertaining 12 hours+ listen. A solid narrated story about WWI, H.G. Wells, a few ghosts from the trenches, Winston Churchill and zeppeliner attacks. I will be checking out some of the authors earlier books because I liked this one.

Historia
The biggest lie in history is about to be shattered. UFOs are real. In late June of 1947, three extraterrestrial craft were downed outside Roswell Air Force Base. Many more followed, revealing dozens of ET species and a Rosetta Stone to a new physics, an energy generation and propulsion system responsible for interstellar space travel. This new system could have easily replaced oil, gas, coal, and nuclear plants - and with them, the entire geopolitical and economic order on our planet. But a cabal of bankers, the military-industrial complex, and Big Oil stopped it.

Entertainment or reality.

I’ve been following the ufo/alien discussion for years. This is an interessting read with a lot of stories and «evdidence» from what we Are told Are very credible sources. It goes overboard when Greer starts takling about theories as the thruth.
