As with all of Lisa Kleypas’ novels, this is a delightful love story and mystery, with a cute twist! Anna Parker-Naples’ perfect narration made the story and each of the characters come alive!

Excellent book that effortlessly wraps a mystery within an unlikely and beautiful romance. I love that the very interesting and somewhat quirky characters become fully developed as the story unfolds.. The narrative is convincingly delivered by two exceptional narrators. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

I am so glad I ignored the negative reviews and decided to get this audiobook. The story is awesome and classic Kristen Ashley. While there are a few parallels to Motorcycle Man, the love story of Clara and Buck is distinctly different, and very engrossing! Erin Mallon’s excellent narration embodies each character so well that you become totally immersed in the volatile journey of the novel. I look forward to continuation of the series and the Aces High Motorcycle Club!

Danielle Steel provides a great story supported by perfect narration from Rob Webb of a woman who is a devoted mother and supportive wife. India Taylor left a rewarding and socially important career as a prize winning photographer to provide a loving home for her husband and their four children, but is beginning to feel more like a companion, maid, chauffeur, and cook - rather than a treasured wife. When she tells her husband Doug that her agent is urging her to return to photography on a parttime basis, he shuts her down and tells her that he is completely against it. During an annual trip to Cape Cod with her children, India meets and befriends an inernationally famous couple who dramatically change the trajectory of India's life. Even though there are a few scenes that date the timeline (references to phone booths and no cell phones), the premise of the story is timeless and very enjoyable.

This is my first book by Bianca Blythe and I am now a fan. I bought it because I always enjoy books read by Angela Dawe, particularly historical romances.

This lovely story captures your imagination with the right balance of villains, heroes, betrayal, forgiveness, and romance. The handsome Duke of Salisbury is an obsessive, yet brilliant inventor who is not satisfied being a wealthy member of the ton. He is viewed as a kook by most of his peers who fail to understand the genius of his projects. He is also being targeted by Lady Fitzroy, an ambitious and scheming mother who wants him to marry her daughter, Theodosia, who is in love with another. The mother sends her daughter to the duke’s castle to attend a Christmas ball, accompanied by her maid, Celia, who is Theodosia’s untitled half-sister. The two sisters have the same father, though Celia was born out of wedlock. When the two beautiful half-sisters arrive at the duke’s residence, Theodosia talks a reluctant Celia into pretending to be her. Theodosia uses this opportunity to run away for a liaison with the French viscount whom she loves. The duke falls in love with Celia and wants to marry her, thinking she is the titled Theodosia. You must read this fascinating story to discover what happens! It is worth the credit.

Lecia Cornwall has crafted a hypnotic adult fairytale about beautiful Laire Macleod whose father’s obsession with having a son imperils his family in disastrous ways. To his gross disappointment, Donal Macleod’s seven previous wives only gave birth to daughters. His 8th wife turns out to be a scheming witch who drugs Donal and his daughters with a mind-numbing potion. Laire refuses to drink the concoction and escapes to Edinburgh, followed closely by the witch’s mysterious and conflicted henchman, Iain Lindsey, who is sent to kill her. As Laire seeks to rescue her family, the ensuing tale is a captivating succession of close encounters and near disasters with an amazing band of endearing and malevolent characters. This is an exhilarating love story and breathtaking adventure. Ruth Urquhart’s narration is utterly amazing as each character fully materializes through the magic of her voice.

Lucky Stars is the fifth and final book in Kristen Ashley's compelling Ghosts and Reincarnation series. It offers a complicated love story imperiled by betrayal, murder, and ancient ghosts. Wealthy bachelor, James "Jack" Bennett falls hard for beautiful Belle Abbot upon first sight. The problem is, she is his younger brother's date at their mother's annual birthday ball. Belle is timid and wary of Jack's attention, but finds herself equally attracted to him. After one dance with Belle, Jack steals her away from the family castle to a loft above the stable where they engage in passionate love making that will forever alter their destinies, as well as change the lives of both of their families and three ancient ghosts. What makes Belle especially intriguing is that while she is painfully introverted, she is also a very successful and wealthy fashion designer.

Each character is robustly developed by Kristen Ashley and excellently portrayed by the narration of Abby Craden who perfectly embodies the voices of women, men, and children. She transitions from British to Scottish to American accents so flawlessly that you forget one person is narrating.

Kristen Ashley never fails to deliver!
