Historia
A pool boy enters a secluded Bel Air property and discovers two bodies floating in the bright blue water: Gio Aggiunta, the playboy heir to an Italian shoe empire, and a gorgeous, even wealthier neighbor named Meagin March. A married neighbor. An illicit affair stoking rage is a perfect motive. But a “double” in this neighborhood of gated estates isn’t something you see every day. The house is untouched. No forced entry, no forensic evidence. The case has “that feeling,” and when that happens, Milo turns to his friend, the brilliant psychologist Alex Delaware.

Good character and plot development
Revisado: 03-30-24
Familiar characters and an engaging storyline. The Delaware court consult case that’s usually in the story doesn’t substantially appear until the epilogue.

Engaging, multi-layered, nuanced mystery

This series, as always, as well worth the time for a listen. The authors have an engaging way of using what seems mundane details to carry both humor and monumentally important story details. It is definitely with your time.

Revisado: 11-11-19
I loved everything about this story. It had a great mystery plot, engaging characters, and vibrant background details and music of New Orleans. I admire the persistence of the main character Viva and how she represents a great role model for young women her age.

Historia
It's Carnival week in Cherringham, but while most of the locals are looking forward to the regatta, the parade and the fireworks, Jack and Sarah are more interested in the mysterious body that's been uncovered at the archaeological dig just outside the village ... No Roman soldier - but a young man, no ID. Definitely the victim of a cold blooded murder ... from just a few decades ago. It's a baffling cold case - but one that soon heats up when a member of the carnival committee suddenly goes missing. Jack and Sarah investigate - and quickly come up against a wall of silence.
