Not his best but still good

If you’re into Ken Follett, you’ll like it. But it’s not his best. A little too much science terminology to follow on an audiobook.

Excellent, realistic spy thriller

Fascinating take on what might have happened behind the real life hijacking of a uranium ship by Israeli intelligence. Some of the accents were not great, but besides that, an engrossing novel, would highly recommend to fans of Follett’s other work.

An evolving story all the more relevant 15 years later
Reviewed: 08-11-16
The looming tower is an in depth look at the history of the doctrine of radical Islam, its roots and evolution, culminating in the events of 9/11. The narrative gives the reader a front row seat to the confounding nature of islamism and its quest for mind share in the Arab world. Eerily relevant in 2016, this book draws on religious history, geopolitics, and the Shakespearean drama that unfolded leading up the that Tuesday in September.
