Great story! terrible voice actor!

what I liked: the story
what I dislike: the voice actors, their tones were so dry and dead that all of the jokes fell flat. Im not even half way through chapter two and I feel that Death, with the capital D, was about to show up and have a life changing chat with the Voice actors.

I love how the message of the book is perseverance. A concept that a lot of people need now days. Fate may bring you low, but as long as you keep a forward focus mindset, you will always be able to turn tragedy into something sublime.

I love the concept of this series as people gain power through architecture! it's fun, fresh, and the characters are dynamic and complex with real emotional responses. Plus there are real consequences for actions. other authors who write similar series almost always ruin their work by turning the protagonist into a Sue, but not here. the characters are always striving and earn their power the right way.

The story fell chaotic and unfocused until near the end as Will begins the process of focusing the series down into its major plot points. we get To see the return of one of the Greatest side characters, Lemon, and are thoroughly disappointed when she doesn't get the Zenith Cannon.
