Story
Andrew didn’t realize he might be autistic until his girlfriend, Michelle, approached him about it months into their relationship. No amount of life experience could’ve prepared Michelle for the confusion she felt while dating Andrew, as he was unlike any man she had ever dated before. The thought never dawned on her that she could fall deeply in love with a man who was autistic or that he might be unaware of this, even into his 30s.

Refreshingly honest, funny and informative

This couple take you on an amazing journey of life, love and neurodivergence. Michelle is very quick-witted in her conversations and Andrew is hilarious with his sarcasm and dead-pan topics! This book isn’t just for those with autism, it’s a great listen for all couples! Very well written and I can’t wait for the subsequent books.

Story
They say Cape Disappointment is haunted. That's why tourists used to flock there in droves. They'd visit the rocky shoreline under the old lighthouse's watchful eye and fish shells from the water as they pretended to spot dark shapes in the surf. Now the tourists are long gone, and when Meredith Strand and her young daughter return to Meredith's childhood home after an acrimonious split from her wife, the Cape seems more haunted by regret than any malevolent force. But her mother, suffering from early stages of Alzheimer's, is convinced the ghost stories are real.

A little suspenseful

It was hard to keep track of the mothers and daughters while reading. It raised more questions than answers: why did the father favor his niece, Lizzie over god own daughters. Why did Alice’s mother have to be the one to end the curse? Where did Tempest and Calamity actually come from? How did Gina survive? Was she actually a witch?

Story
For more than 30 years, Edie and Richard Middlestein shared a solid family life together in the suburbs of Chicago. But now things are splintering apart, for one reason, it seems: Edie's enormous girth. She's obsessed with food - thinking about it, eating it - and if she doesn't stop, she won't have much longer to live. When Richard abandons his wife, it is up to the next generation to take control. With pitch-perfect prose, huge compassion, and sly humor, Jami Attenberg has given us an epic story of marriage, family, and obsession.

Listening without chapter headings
Reviewed: 09-15-18
It was so hard to listen to this book. Chapters dissolved into other chapters without acknowledgment. It was so hard to listen to. I loved Molly reading it, but next time include chapter headings for a better listening experience.
