Story
What was Mr. Darcy’s life like before he met Elizabeth Bennet? Before he stepped onto the Pride and Prejudice stage at the Meryton assembly? More importantly, where is he and what is he doing all the time he’s absent from the page thereafter? And what is his relationship to a woman named Amelia? With Fitzwilliam Darcy in His Own Words, the iconic literary hero finally tells his own story, from the traumas of his early life to the consummation of his love for Elizabeth and everything in between.

Story
All is fair in love and war - or is it? What if Mr. Darcy's rival for Elizabeth Bennet's hand and heart is not some inconsequential stranger, but his dearest, closest friend? How is he to reconcile the claims of loyalty and kinship with the urge to pursue his heart's desire?

The storyline was good, not great. However I enjoy Stevie Zimmerman's narration! Not sure if I'll purchase other books by this author.

Story
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

Amazing!

I didn't know anything about James Taylor's early life. To reach the level of success at such as young age is mind boggling. What's even more amazing he did it while dealing with addiction and serious mental health issues. I loved the honesty and candor of his journey.

Story
One of the turning points in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is Miss Elizabeth Bennet's passionate refusal and denunciation of the equally passionate but infinitely more repressed Fitzwilliam Darcy. However, unforeseen events can lead to the most unexpected consequences. During a visit with her friend, Charlotte Collins, at Hunsford, Elizabeth falls prey to illness for almost the first time in her life just as Mr. Darcy comes to call. Befuddled by her illness, she misinterprets his proposal of marriage, and a simple nod of acknowledgment is mistaken for acceptance.

Wonderful Story - Poor Narration
Reviewed: 09-15-19
I loved this story. However, I had to struggle listening to it because of the poor performance of the reader. Often monotone, slow, and distracting. Will not listen to any books narrated by Katherine Anderson again.

Story
The Kennedy wives saw history up close - and made history in some cases. They knew wealth and privilege, but we are bonded to them by losses that are our losses, too. The Kennedy women - fierce, intelligent, and very private - belong to us. Not because of their glamour but because of their grief and misfortunes. The Kennedy Wives takes an unflinching look at the women who married into the Kennedy family and their distinct roles.

Great Work!

Really liked this book. I learned many new facts about these women. More than facts, you understand how they thought, felt, and believed.
I felt the reader sounded robotic at times. Other than that great work.
