Story
In the highly anticipated finale to the New York Times best-selling trilogy, dictators, prophets, and tensions rise. In a world that’s conquered death, will humanity finally be torn asunder by the immortal beings it created? Citra and Rowan have disappeared. Endura is gone. It seems like nothing stands between Scythe Goddard and absolute dominion over the world scythedom. With the silence of the Thunderhead and the reverberations of the Great Resonance still shaking the earth to its core, the question remains: Is there anyone left who can stop him?

I think Neal is one of my favorite authors now. his writing is exceptional. thought provoking and beautifully painful. I'm actually depressed that there isn't another book.

that did not go the way I thought it would. twists and turns is an understatement. this has been a series I will not forget. I can not wait to read the next book. I didn't realize how desperately I needed a series to deliver and this did.

ok after book 2 I feel like I can solidly recommend this book for the 10 to 12 year Olds. Sure I enjoyed it as an adult but it really just reads young. I think after this I'm going to step out of the series as I don't love it.

it's been a long time since I read a Steven king novel. his writing especially of conversations is masterful. it's like to are actually listening in on people talking. several times throughout this book I thought I should google that and see if it happened. or course I didn't because this is fiction but you get so caught up you forget it's just a story. I really loved this one it's the perfect October read.
