Do NOT PURCHASE! Recording has major faults in several chapters. (More than 4) where you have the story stutter, FF, jumble or just make odd noises (not sound affects!). Someone needs to listen to the book from beginning to end and count out how many times it happens and how much story is lost! I think it’s more than 1 hours worth!

I have been a lifelong lover of Native American culture. This story shows again how greed and hubris affect Native culture. and how white men (men not women) have always tried to swindle or betray those they see as less or different.
the life of May Dodd was amazing! Her strength and resilience were unmatched. these women should be taught about in history classes.

I love LKH'S books. I love reading them and hearing them. but Mrs. Holloway should not even try! She miss pronounces Wareanimal, and all related words.. Then doubles down and tries to use an English accent.. omg! My ears are bleeding!
