Really bad stories
Reviewed: 04-26-14
Would you try another book from the authors and/or the narrators?
Ive listened to quite a few zombie books and this collection is, by far, the worst. Two or three of the entire collection are not too bad. Most are just plain stupid.
What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?
Most were very campy in nature.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Nope

Story
Times are desperate for the Rebel Alliance. Harassment by the Empire and a shortage of vital supplies are hindering completion of a new secret base on the ice planet Hoth. So when Mid Rim merchants offer much-needed materials for sale, Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo lead an Alliance delegation to negotiate a deal. But when treachery forces the rebel ship to flee into territory controlled by pirates, Leia makes a shocking discovery: The fierce marauders come from Leia's homeworld of Alderaan, recently destroyed by the Death Star.

What did you like best about Razor's Edge? What did you like least?
This story is just lame. I like the time frame it's told in, but the story itself just falls flat.
What was most disappointing about Martha Wells’s story?
It could have been better
What does January LaVoy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I like the tones she uses.
Was Razor's Edge worth the listening time?
Not in the least. But as a star wars fans....

Story
It's Peretti's ultimate monster story. And this time, the monster is real. Miles away from the hectic city, Reed and Rebecca hike into the beautiful Northwestern woods. They're surrounded by gorgeous mountains, waterfalls, and hundreds of acres of unspoiled wilderness. But something - or someone - begins closing in on them. Something no human has ever seen. And it's killing everyone in its path without remorse.

Story
The ever after, the demonic realm that parallels our own, is shrinking, and if it disappears, so does all magic. It’s up to witch-turned-daywalking-demon Rachel Morgan to fix the ever-after before the fragile balance between magic users and humans fails. Of course, there’s also the small fact that she caused the ley line to rip in the first place, and her life is forfeit unless she can fix it.
