Story
The perfect neighborhood can be the perfect place to hide… Who wouldn’t want to live in Brighton Hills? This exclusive community on the Oregon coast is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty. Stunning houses nestle beneath mighty Douglas firs, and lush backyards roll down to the lakefront. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another. Sometimes a little too closely…

I love Imogen’s voice and accent in others she’s narrated, but this performance was cringy. Too exaggerated and Paige’s voice and any of the males I got confused with because they were similar and masculine I got lost at times. Cora’s voice was just horrid.
I would’ve returned the title if I could have and just read the book.

Best book I’ve listened to in a long time!!

I heard good things about this book so I was exited to listen. Lesley Sharp was also incredible narrating this. It fit perfectly and flowed together so well the story line was so intense and literally had my jaw dropping almost every chapter. I’m sad I finished it so quick! I got so connected to Jen, Kelly, and Todd. Such a roller coaster but definitely recommend to read!! Hope Lesley narrates more like these and Gillian McAllister keeps up the great work with these suspense novels!

Their little angel is missing, last seen on her pink bicycle, heading toward the dark woods on Black Heart Lane. I absolutely adore this series. After reading the first book to the series, I was hopeful that the second wouldn’t disappoint. And it sure didn’t! I finished it in 2 days because I was hooked. I can’t wait for more to come out! The narrator once again did a phenomenal job, you could feel and understand each character and the seriousness or delicacy of a situation on what come about within the story. I highly recommend!!!

Story
Haunted by the serial killer she never caught, Detective Kimberley King leaves her job in New York and relocates to the sleepy town of Dead Woman Crossing, Oklahoma. Kimberley hopes to bring her daughter Jessica up close to her family, far from the bad memories the city holds. But her quiet new home is not the peaceful place she dreamed of. Within days of her arrival, Kimberley is called to the scene of a terrible crime: her friend Hannah, a single mother, has been brutally murdered while her one-year-old daughter was sleeping nearby.
