Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Story
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
No and Yes.... the first few hours were rought.... I found that I really disliked the main character and I really did not feel any sympathy for him, soooo it was hard to stay with, BUT it got better and the last few hours made me glad I stuck it out.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The real meaning behind it all.... that everyone has something to teach us and if we were to really pay attention under our irritation, people behave the way they do for a reason and everyone is missing something .... be kinder, try harder, and be willing to be suprised.
Could you see A Man Called Ove being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
yes... not sure
