a marriage of convenience romance between two people who are sort of pushed together in the wake of a tragedy and now have to navigate parenthood. a slow burn worth waiting for!!! it’s got the quintessential elsie forced proximity + tension and banter that i love. the audio was phenomenal, the samantha brentmoor x jason clarke pairing is gunna do it for me every. single. time.

three povs, three romances - soo much intrigue! all the girls have secrets they’re hiding, walls they keep up, until the right man comes along. the secrets are addicting and waiting for everything to unravel was so much fun! loved this one

another 5 star book in this series!

i’ve never picked up an elizabeth o’roark book and not been absolutely consumed start to finish, and this was no exception. it had everything i love in a forbidden romance, the push and pull, the tension, the sneaking around, the connnection they never saw coming. it was the perfect final book to this series i love soo so much. i didn’t know if anything could surpass my love for the first book in this series, but this may have done it.

samantha brentmoor was obviously incredible, as always. and dare i say this was some of jason clarke’s best/hottest work ever??? i fear i will never recover.

I love this story so much! A bit of a second chance vibe, age gap, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, i hate everyone but you, wounded hero who just needs to be loved. Connor Crais was the perfect person to narrate Cole’s grumpy, closed off personality, and Vanessa Edwin was amazing as Violet!

perfect second chance romance!

Coach was SUCH a fun read for me! single dad & second chance will always be my favorite tropes, and it’s even better when they’re combined. Ford & Millie never had the timing right all those years ago, best friends to almost lovers, then strangers kept apart when life got in the way. When Ford gets a job as the new head football coach at his alma mater, the last person he expected to see working in the same department is Millie.

Ford is the best dad, and I love how quickly Joey and Millie bond, it’s the sweetest thing. Ford is determined to win Millie over and not let this second chance pass them by. I absolutely loved the college football setting of this book with Ford being the head coach and Millie working as an athletic director! I love a college sports setting in books, but sometimes I feel too old reading them since those years are behind me lol. So it was SO fun to still be in that setting but with older characters, i don’t think i’ve read anything like that before.

this was an easy 5⭐️ for me! highly recommend 🤩 plus the audiobook is fantastic, narrated by two of my favs, Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton!

Rina’s best book, Shane East’s best work

her best book ever. hands down. the idea i had of bran from the previous books couldn’t have been more wrong, and i loved him so much 😭 niko was somehow both unhinged and adorable. his love for bran was everything.

i’ve always enjoyed rina’s books, but never really felt this connected to or emotionally invested in a couple before. teddy hamilton and shane east absolutely killed the narration. i almost shed a few tears on more than one occasion 🥲

this book had the best childhood frenemies + secret pining vibes with endless banter and tension 😮‍💨 ford grant the man that you are 🧎🏼‍♀️ his awkwardness that manifests into being feisty & sarcastic was so entertaining and relatable. he had it sooo bad for rosie, and i loved getting the little flashbacks of their earlier years together through the diary entries.

the audiobook was such a good time, it’s narrated by zachary webber and vanessa edwin, two of my favs! they brought these characters to life so well.

perfect forbidden sports romance!

Blitz delivered at every turn! it has the small town Devney Perry charm we know and love with all the fun and excitement of a forbidden, sports romance. it was so easy to get sucked into their effortless and obvious chemistry, and you can’t help but root for them despite all the rules they’re breaking. it was the perfect balance of tension and sweetness. Jason Clarke & Vanessa Edwin brought these characters to life perfectly!

INCREDIBLE narration!!!

belladonna is one of the best audios i listened to in 2023! the narrator is phenomenal (the way death is narrated had me feeling things). everything about the story drew me in so easily, the somewhat spooky, gothic backdrop, a character who cannot seem to die, no matter how often she may tempt death. it was unlike anything i’ve read before and i loved it so much!

melanie harlow will always be an autobuy author for me! her books are always the perfect balance of sweet moments, hilarious characters (especially kids!), top tier spice, and small town shenanigans. and she totally delivered all of that & more with this book

runaway love was a fun, lighthearted read with lots of witty banter, tension, and cute moments that made for the perfect summery small town romance

i loved the narrators! sebastian york always plays the broody grump so well, and sophie daniels brought out all of veronica’s sweet, witty, sunshiney personality. i already know it’ll be added to the comfort audiobook rotation!
