Story
In The Conservative Heart, Arthur C. Brooks contends that after years of focusing on economic growth and traditional social values, it is time for a new kind of conservatism - one that helps the vulnerable without mortgaging our children's future. In Brooks' daring vision, this conservative movement fights poverty, promotes equal opportunity, celebrates earned success, and values spiritual enlightenment. It is an inclusive movement with a positive agenda to help people lead happier, more hopeful, and more satisfied lives.

Futurama as a Novel
Reviewed: 02-05-15
For most of the novel, I felt as I was listening to an episode of Futurama. I have never been a fan of Matt Groening’s sci-fi television show; however, I have chuckled a few times when I was in the room with my teenagers where watching show. Even the novel’s protagonist was portrayed with a voice similar to Futurama’s Fry. My simple mind kept imaging everything as Groening’s animation.
With that said, I did finish the book I will confess that I enjoyed listening to much of it. I was just relieved to be done.
