Absolutely riveting!!

One of the best of Illes’ novels! So appropriate for this time period of Trumpism where people still support him even though he is guilty of 32+ criminal charges! I was actually sad when I finished the novel and was reading the hard copy and listening to Audible while I had to actually do daily life. I taught AP lit for 30 years so I appreciate good writing and this is good writing. You might not agree with the subject matter (I applaud it), but do not criticize the prose—it is first rate!

I love it! I’m genuinely surprised that there are no reviews yet! I found this book while taking a book quiz and instantly fell in love with the premise. I also found the authors TikTok page, so I’m definitely giving that a follow. Overall loved the main character and story. Sorry this is my first ever review so I don’t know if I did it right.
