Story
People don't buy from people they like. No! Your buyer doesn't care about you or your product or service. It's not your job to overcome objections, it's your buyer's. Closing isn't a skill of good salespeople; it's the skill of weak salespeople. Price isn't the main reason salespeople lose the sale. Gap Selling shreds traditional and closely held sales beliefs that have been hurting salespeople for decades. For years, salespeople have embraced a myriad of sales tactics and belief systems that have unknowingly created many of the issues they have been trying to avoid.

Well Read, Inspirational - Compelling - Unfiltered
Reviewed: 11-16-21
Extremely well-read, with passion and a tone that makes it an easy listen. Confession, I'm an audiobook snob who consumes 150+ hours a year and this was excellent!
Inspirational - Bragers never do! You will learn that Michale Dell does not self-promote he's getting it done and is way more than a right-time right place success story, For example understanding and making a profit at 17 because he understood and took advantage of supply and demand explains why he has built one of the leading logistics operations.
Compelling, even if you know the story the details are amazing. Unfiltered, he is not afraid to put his feeling and thoughts into this book.

Very entertaining and well worth a listen.. We have forgotten the history of wrongs that have been trust on Native Americans, and point our fingers at other groups and countries, this is a good reminder that Apartheid was based almost word for word on the Indian reservation system. Mohican Sun & Sun City smae thing.

Story
Everyone knows that timing is everything. But we don't know much about timing itself. Our lives are a never-ending stream of "when" decisions: when to start a business, schedule a class, get serious about a person. Yet we make those decisions based on intuition and guesswork. Timing, it's often assumed, is an art. In When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing, Pink shows that timing is really a science.
