Pleasantley Surprised!
Revisado: 09-14-23
I began this podcast with a skeptical hermeneutic about church podcasts. Pretty much all of them had bored me to some degree. This podcast is refreshing. I am grateful for it.
Church history is a daunting subject for me. But in today's world, it almost seems necessary to rebuff all of the attacks at church history. This podcast has allowed me to not shy away from some of the more difficult subjects. Thank you so much to the creators! It definitely has expanded the space for my faith to flourish.

wow! just wow

I find it odd that I even read this book. It started off listening to a podcast where Peter atia was a guest. on Rich roll. like a 3-hour podcast. I didn't even think I would make it through that podcast. being a medical professional, I thought I knew a lot about longevity. this evidence-based book pointed out how much I just don't know. but even more than that, this book was well-rounded, balanced, and even moved me to tears. The sincerity of Peter atia and his vulnerability at such a unique dimension to a book about longevity pointing out so many important facets of why in the world longevity even matters and many subtle things that can negate the effectiveness of longevity such as emotional health. I listen to this book and then ordered a hard copy. It's pretty rare for me to do that.
That being said, this book is very technical at times. without my medical background, it would be hard to stomach, read, comprehend, and enjoy. those with some intellectual capabilities for handling the information. this is not so much a critique as making the book this way was absolutely necessary. but I would think most people without higher education would find parts of this a struggle.
but for me and I'm sure millions of others it will be an absolute home run! Well done!
