the author gave some interesting research and stories, and even some interesting solutions to the problem of depression, but his Crusade for Universal basic income ruined this book for me. also, I found the production value to be subpar. For some reason audible produced audio books consistently lack the quality of other studios.

They were called Easy Company, but their mission was never easy. Immortalized as the Band of Brothers, they suffered huge casualties while liberating Europe in an unparalleled record of bravery under fire. Dick Winters led them through the Battle of the Bulge, the attack on Foy, where Easy Company reached its breaking point, and finally into Germany, by which time each member had been wounded. Outside Munich, they liberated an S.S. death camp and captured Berchtesgaden, Hitler's alpine retreat.

Lots of repeated info from Band of Brothers
Reviewed: 07-12-17
I had just listened to Ambrose's Band of Brothers and then Beyond Band of Brothers, there's probably a 50 or 60% overlap however I did enjoy major Winters personal reflections especially on leadership at the end of the book.
The narration is pretty awful. The voices used for quoting various people were atrocious. At one point he is trying to do a German accent but sounds like an American trying to do a French accent.

Whether you’re aiming to achieve literary immortality or just hoping to deliver the perfect one-liner, The Elements of Eloquence proves that you don’t need to have anything important to say - you simply need to say it well.

Really enjoyed it, however I was caught off guard when the author would quote someone dropping an F bomb a few times. No big deal, just glad my 2 year old wasn't listening at the time, not ready for him to add that to his vocabulary just yet.
