Great book. Terrible audio quality

Multiplied times throughout the story the narrator sounds like they are reading under water or with a microphone in their pocket. Super muffled. Really wish they would re-record it. Great story

Story
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

Loved that viola was so brave is sharing her journey and did not shy away from the bleakness, fear, shame, and pain. A beautiful narration of her journey and I could not stop listening to it. Bravo!

Okayish

As you can tell by the title it was okay imho. I appreciated the unconventional world created and the way magic is described and utilized. I personally am not the biggest fan of 1st person narratives. It left a sour taste in my mouth to have a “To be continued” ending where there were so many things left unresolved. I don’t know if I would recommend it to many unless I knew this type of book was in their interest range.
