Story
I was no one—until the auction. Four wealthy men. Four dates. And then I would just go back to my boring life with my cat and never see them again, right? Now that they’ve had a taste, they won’t let me disappear into my old life. They want me to be theirs. Benjamin, Alexander, MacKenna, and Colin—who also happens to be my brother’s best friend.

No Plot, Amazing Narration

Duet Style
Narrators: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Plot: ⭐⭐⭐
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I got this book because it's narrated by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell. As always they did an amazing job. And it's a duet.
As for the story, it's just one POV, by the FMC which to me is a bit boring, there are four guys and it would've been amazing to know what they were thinking.
The plot, well, there isn't really one. It's a love story and it's just sort of a step by step of how they fall in love. And that happens really quickly in the book so after that is just their day by day situations.
Lavender was r@ped as a teen and she sees the guy at a wedding and I was hoping for some action, or something to happen after that but nothing.
This is not a bad book, it's sweet, and the smut is good but short. Their relationship is again...sweet. But nothing really happens. Even with her parents that made her who she is, there is no development. So if you are looking for a sweet book with some smut, that doesn't make you think too much, this is it.
I think that if I had read this instead of listening I would've DNF it.

Ronan: This world was never meant for me—a shadowed figure wandering, fueled by carnal desires until I am destined for hell. And I embrace it wholeheartedly. But then she came into the picture after my successful hunt at a local coffee shop. She offered me a simple act of kindness, and in that moment, I was consumed by her. My obsession with Everly knows no bounds, and there is no escape. Her fate is to become one with me, bound by darkness and consumed by our twisted desires.

Unhinged Joe Arden
Reviewed: 03-09-25
There is nothing better then Joe Arden narrating unhinged characters! This is a duet and the female narrator is amazing!! they both her.
this is one of the darkest books I've read, the religious references, the trauma, the way they unite. This book is perfect! 🫠

The sound effects!!
Reviewed: 01-23-25
This is my first book with background sound effects and I loved it! The narrators were both amazing and the male narrator is to die for! Sexy hell and with this bad boy vibe that I love! And the female voice is so realistic, her breathing, her meanings, girl you are amazing!
The story is entertaining, nothing new but if you want something pure smutty with some plot, revenge and and MMC stalker with a Ghost mask then this is perfect!
This is duet style with sound effects like water dripping, slapping, steps, door closing. Loved it!

Story
I was raised in a world where money and power are at your fingertips. My father is a lord, a very respected member of a secret society that knows no bounds. When tragedy struck my family, we discovered we weren’t untouchable. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any worse, I was shown what hell is really like. Then he came and saved me. The devil disguised as my personal hero. But of course, nothing is for free. Not when a soul is up for grabs.

Took Effort to End
Reviewed: 12-25-24
First off both narrators were awesome! It's a duet and they give the characters life.
The story on the other hand... I loved the ritual! Ryat and Blake were amazing. In this book I love how pitch black Sin is but Ellie made me want to throw punches. She spends 90% horny over nothing or sore. The book is 80% smut and 20% plot. The 20% are amazing! So many things happening, so many turns, loved it! love Tyson and the appearance of the spade brothers. I get Ellie is traumatised, over sexual because of what she went through but I ended up speeding her parts. "clench my legs" "my body feels so sore" in every single chapter makes it boring and makes the plot take forever to move along.
Also I read comments that Sin cheated, people need to read it to the end. there is no cheating in this book.

Ryat is Just 🫠
Reviewed: 12-18-24
Fiat off I will start by saying this is thankfully a DUET! So male narrator does ALL the male voices and the female narrator all the female voices
To start let's not forget this is a dark romance book, I've seen some comments on Goodreads saying this book has a lot of smut and dubious behaviour. Well that's the point right? if you go into a book like this thinking this will be a masterpiece of romance literature you will be disappointed. This is dark, this has a lot of smut and a lot of kinks. I love that the MFC is into stuff that usually woman are afraid to express and she finds a guy that doesn't care, he just wants to make her happy even if she's "just" the chosen one. The plot is one the best I've read in this genre, it's well made, well paced. Keeps you wondering and there are a few surprises along the way and others you could tell would happen.
Ryat is a dominant man, he cares about what he wants and needs but still manages to think and act towards Blake satisfaction. There is a stalker, and yes he is a stalker, I've seen people saying "why can't he take a no", do you guys know what a stalker is? You don't. 😑
So there is Stalker, family secrets that change everything for Blake, kidnapping, dubious consent, and again yes drugging her and making her "arrive" is dubious consent my friends.
and then the high point of this book, and this genre, Ryat will burn the world for her, even following the LORDS rules he still does everything for the love of his life. He will go to war to get her back.
As for the narrators, I LOVE them both! he has this deep, dominant voice that makes me chill and the female narrator is one of the best I've heard. When she is checking the way her voice changes, is just amazing!

The rabbit's foot sways in the car, a bad omen that I choose to ignore. Her innocent face and offer for a ride are too tempting. Little does she know that I'm a dangerous man on the run, a sociopath with a thirst for the thrill of the hunt. Selena is my rabbit, and I'm about to ensnare her in my trap. As we speed toward the border, emotions I thought I was incapable of stir within me. What will happen when we reach our destination? Will I let her go, or will I keep her by my side forever? The game has just begun, rabbit.

Love a true morally grey
Reviewed: 12-06-24
I really enjoyed this book, the fact that he is evil to the end makes it more believable, he loves her but he is still a murderer, he is still primal. Selena annoyed me at the beginning, the entire oh my I'm being unfaithful was driving me crazy 🤣 but the character grew on me. The MFC voice is so beautiful and soft, just what imagined for Selena. And Teddy? Well he could read a grocery shopping list. He is amazing at morally grey characters! if you enjoy a very spicy book, with incredibly well written smut and a soft plot this book is for you. oh also he says good girl a lot... 🥴

Bristlebrook is up in smoke, my brutes are dead, and Sam’s camp is a powder keg begging for a flame. Injured and furious over their losses, the surviving hunters are preoccupied with their own problems. Their factions and allegiances. Their internal wars and pissing contests. The new world they want to forge. They don’t look twice at their meek little captive.

Story
Since the Final War, I’ve been doing just fine. I have a lovely cave, a darling vegetable patch, forest views . . . and if loneliness sometimes squeezes my aching heart, well, my books have always kept me company. That is, until a pack of hunters chase me from my home and right into the arms of several rather large, rather brutish ex-Army Rangers. And those brutes have the nerve to make me the rudest offer I’ve ever heard. Their protection—for my body.

This book is amazing! As a die hard metalhead this book was such an amazing surprise! Dreamer story made me cry, her growth from a poor heated girl to rock queen with the love of 5 man, was amazing! The voice cast is the best I've heard. I came for Grayson's voice and stayed for everyone else.
This is the first book from this author I've read and now I need more! The spice parts were great and not too much, it blended with the story perfectly! I will definitely get the book too! If you love a why choose with drama, spice, well written characters, a sad story with an amazing happing ending, this is for you!
