Average at best

I was expecting more, I think the writer lost focus and turned it into a romance novel. It lost its cohesiveness and strayed into absurd territory. Lost interest because of the shift in direction.

Good story, just a bit simplistic in the execution

I enjoyed the concept and the pacing, kept me engaged. Some aspects were a bit simplistic and straightforward but didn't detract from the enjoyment. The narration is good just some of the male portrayals felt off. Looking forward to the next book.
