The synopsis sounded interesting! I do not have triggers and I am open to any type of story.
However, the narration truly killed this entire storyline!! I tried 4 times, starting over each time to get past chapter 2. Then skipped chapters to see if story or narration improved, IT DID NOT. Finally skipped to the end.. just as bad. I want to ask for a refund!!
I am hesitant to even try any other story/plot from this author.

I love a good " Daddy" fast burn from time to time.. this was not IT! THE narration voices were annoying and hard to get through. The storyline felt weak as well. I jumped from chapter 5 to the end pretty quick and only spanned a week in book time. Good thing this was 1.99 purchase.. not worth much m ore.. better luck next time.

I LOVE historical romances and hot , steamy contemporary romance.
This story drew me in and kept me awake for hours after so called bedtime!! it was fun, witty , steamy ( for the period ), angst filled and soo sweet! the characters are well developed and the story line does not leave gaps without explanation.. it is set up as a diary entry situation with a personal narrative!! i highly recommend !!! 5 stars!

Wow I was looking forward to this story.. started off okay but then turned weird! All the Now, and Then chapters, the slow realization of who he is and "How orbwhy".. the narration was mediocre and the story did not keep me fully engrossed.. I finally just skipped to the last chapter... Not going to spoil the ending.. but it was totally a mess! My favorite person was Eddie.. as you will see why.

I was drawn into the story from the beginning and stayed enthralled til the end!! A HOT and different spin on Historical Romance...definitely not a slow burn story. There was not a standard epilogue at the end and at first I was bummed. But truly this story did not need the extra words!!! Enjoy!!
