Historia
Libby has been given a powerful gift: to live one life in 1774 colonial Williamsburg and the other in 1914 Gilded Age New York City. When she falls asleep in one life, she wakes up in the other without any time passing. She has one conscious mind but two very different lives and bodies.

Didn’t finish
Revisado: 12-28-22
I usually enjoy time travel stories for the historical fiction…Nothing like cruising along with a barely enjoyable story only to be preached to at about abortion. Unnecessary & poorly developed character thrown in to create a moral crisis. I’m sure anti-abortion supporters will love it. The tale is predictable, with uninteresting characters and a definite air of “holier than thou” sentiment throughout. No thanks.

City of Time and Magic sees Xanthe face her greatest challenges yet. She must choose from three treasures that sing to her; a beautiful writing slope, a mourning brooch of heartbreaking detail, and a gorgeous gem-set hat pin. All call her, but the wrong one could take her on a mission other than that which she must address first, and the stakes could not be higher. Xanthe must follow the treasure that will take her to him if he is not to be lost forever.

Decent addition to the Time Spinners series
Revisado: 05-16-22
It was a decent addition to the Time Spinners series. I think the author was hurrying through parts and the ending seemed a little anticlimactic. But overall I enjoyed the story and the narration.

Historia
In the spring of 1628, the Witchfinder of Wessex finds himself a true Witch. As Bess Hawksmith watches her mother swing from the Hanging Tree she knows that only one man can save her from the same fate at the hands of the panicked mob: the Warlock Gideon Masters, and his Book of Shadows. Secluded at his cottage in the woods, Gideon instructs Bess in the Craft, awakening formidable powers she didn’t know she had and making her immortal. She couldn't have foreseen that even now, centuries later, he would be hunting her across time, determined to claim payment for saving her life.

Predictable but a good story.

I believe I had the plot figured out before the middle of the story, but I enjoyed the characters, and the period drama. I hope Ms Braxton will further develop these characters and story line.
