Well done! Interesting and well narrated.
Revisado: 01-03-25
I didn't expect to enjoy this...but it was what we had as we drove, and I was soon engrossed in the story. Reality to us as we had moved to Tennessee only 7 years ago and can associate with every point in this story. The author must have a memory of making a life-changing move. It's enough to test all family relationships. Glad this story was so real that we could discuss it with knowledge of having been there too. Good job!

Great story AND Narration!
Revisado: 08-20-24
The story is honest, touching and heartwarming. I could feel the emotions in every scene. Young love, betrayal, the manipulations and the resolution were all well told. I enjoyed the narration. Every word was clear, and Sarah's voice carried all the feelings in the scenes with wonderful expression. Great Job!

Historia
Avery Beall takes an immediate dislike to Andrew Markham when she encounters him on the Harvard campus. Her aversion grows as he seems to cross her path everywhere she goes. If he isn't a fellow law student or a law professor, what's he doing there? Years later, Avery looks back on her life, on the events that got her to where she is. If she had it to do over, would she have made the choices she did, made the sacrifices she had?

Great story about new starts
Revisado: 08-08-22
Loved the story of Avery's youth and the story of her recovery from grief and her decision to move and begin a new life. Many people should be doing this...but can't find the motivation while suffering from deep grief. Great tale. The men in Avery's life felt real. Men you might meet in the store or office. Linnhe has a great touch with human nature of both genders and how they interact in life. Not always romances...but with the great possibilities of living.
Excellent narration from Jessica. Clear and emotion filled as needed. A very enjoyable performance. I listened to it straight through and later listened again when I got stuck in traffic. Worth listening to as often as you need an escape into a great story.

Revisado: 12-03-21
This final story in the Riverwood series concluded with all the details covered. The narration was perfect. Larinda Agee was the right person to narrate the story. She breathed life into the characters while reading clearly with the emotions needed for each scene. Well done!
I'm so sorry to see the ending of this series, but this is the perfect way to do it. Great job for both the author and narrator!

Amazing story! A great audio to hear!
Revisado: 09-18-21
The Round Top Ranch and San Antonio are featured locations in this book of the Riverwood Series as the kids grow up and take on the challenges of living and earning their way in life. Knowing their families will stand behind them gives each young adult the courage to face the changes that are flying at them. Reality of living is one of the things I enjoy about this series. Many of the events are things that anyone can relate to and the resolutions of the problems faced by all the characters are grounded in reality, even when embellished by fiction.
The narration is fantastic with the narrator breathing life and passion into the story that carries the listener to far away places as they enjoy the tale. Good job to both the Author and the Narrator. I'm sitting on edge waiting for the next audio in this series.

Where better for her to enjoy a few months of riding, swimming in the creek, and improving her Spanish language skills? Luc has no qualms about leaving her in the care of the ranch's manager and his large, close-knit family. Stephanie spends long days in the saddle on Elena Sauseda's breathtaking blue roan mare.

WhooHoo! Worth every minute!
Revisado: 09-16-21
Family drama, ranch life, horses, money, privilege, you want it, this story provides it. I enjoyed the flow of the story as it carried me from the last book on to the expectations for the next.
Stephanie's mistakes are steps to learning how to become a responsible adult. The closeness of the family who support her in her problems is touching in today's age of pushing chicks from the nest before they are ready. Silver Dollar, a beautiful mare, bonds Stephanie to the RTR ranch as tightly as a cinch to a saddle.
This series will keep the reader turning the pages and hanging on until the next audio becomes available. Good Job!

She's on the U.S Olympic Three-Day-Eventing team and it's five days before the opening ceremonies at the summer games in Atlanta. That's the worst day of her life, as she learns how bitterly she's been betrayed by the two people she loved and trusted most. The American team fails to medal and Asha finds herself in Vermont, ostracized and alone, struggling to re-build her life.

Wow...just wow
Revisado: 10-17-20
This book is well written and the narration is the same high quality. You can easily identify with both the characters and the plot. Being an equestrian myself, the happenings feel real and the motivation of the characters ring true.
Asha has survived a horrendous betrayal and suffered more than her share of losses. These have left scars which affect her life and possible relationships. I enjoyed listening to the story of how she and Tim managed to get beyond the tragedy to create a life together.
Good job to both author and narrator, well done, indeed.

When Ronnie and her partners at Horse Country Real Estate attract investors to underwrite the creation of Riverwood, an equestrian community in rural Tennessee, that's when things start to heat up. Ronnie's associates are far more than colleagues; they’re her support system and her true friends. They always have her back but never more so than when Ronnie’s ex-husband, United States Senator Evan Parker, arrives in Tennessee and presents her with an unpalatable ultimatum.

Romance and drama, a new equestrian subdivision is blossoming, a great combination of story and characters. I couldn’t put this narrative down from the time I downloaded it until I HAD to sleep. Finished it first thing this morning and I can’t wait for the next installment. What a wonderful way to step back from the stress and worry of our current situation. Lovely clear narration, so well done. Good job and many thanks to both author and narrator.

Historia
Rob van Horn is a hotshot sports journalist with an instinct for a headline. Taylor O'Brien is a basketball player with a checkered past and regrets. She's not his type. He's her best friend's younger brother. When they clash over a bloody beef tenderloin, there's more at stake than splitting the appetizer. When they go one-on-one on the basketball court Rob makes it clear to everyone that his tastes have changed - at least in women. There's one little problem: an ex-husband who's not what he seems, and a story that turns Rob into a bloodhound.

Well written and well narrated...
Revisado: 12-14-19
I usually shy away from double first person novels, but I liked the synopsis so I gave “Points on a Curve” a listen. I’m very glad that I did. Not only was the story well told, but the narration was exceptional.
It starts as a simple romance, but the plot has many twists to keep your interest. I almost managed to finish it in a single session, however, daily life got in the way. Blast, it took three sessions to complete. The characters were lifelike, with all the daily strife of work, school and money (or lack thereof) that affect us all. The voice of the narrator leant itself to the action, with great enunciation and wonderful flow during the faster action.
Good Job!

Historia
Ronnie Chandler's past - especially the identity of her ex-husband - is a secret, held close and shared with only a trusted few. Planning never to see him again, she’d moved halfway across the country and found a job in a profession where he'd never in a million years look for her. Ready for a bigger challenge than selling small cabins, Ronnie and her colleagues at Horse Country Real Estate attract The Westlake Group, venture capitalists from Virginia, to underwrite the creation of Riverwood, a planned equestrian community. Senator Evan Parker is in Tennessee on a fact-finding trip.

Great story, amazing narration, what more could you want? This is a well told tale with realistic characters facing realistic challenges. Characters with flaws that they have to correct before they can win the day. Family dynamics, romance and intrigue...the perfect mix for a great book. I loved the narrator, her voice is clear and she pronounces every word with perfect inflection. Good job and congratulations to both author and narrator.
