A bit dry for an Audio Book
Reviewed: 12-30-19
I hung in for a couple of chapters because the narrator was engaging. However, I found the content far too technical for this medium; I'll buy the book!

Story
Minimalism is the thing that gets us past the things that clutter our lives so we can make room for life's most important things - which actually aren't things at all. At age 30, best friends Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus walked away from their six-figure corporate careers, jettisoned most of their material possessions, and started focusing on what's truly important.

Good Content, Dismal Narration
Reviewed: 12-28-19
I love The Minimalists, and this is a good summary of their core principles. What lets it down is the monotone narration by someone who seems utterly bored by what he is reading; how I wish Ryan or/and Joshua had read it instead

This book grew out of a series of letters to my daughter concerning various things - mostly about money and investing - she was not yet quite ready to hear. Since money is the single most powerful tool we have for navigating this complex world we've created, understanding it is critical.

Great Audio Version of FIRE Bible
Reviewed: 12-28-19
Anyone who knows the slightest thing about FIRE knows that this is an amazing book, but does it work in this audio format? In my opinion absolutely YES! The simple concepts and clear writing style comes across brilliantly, especially as read in Jim's own avuncular and engaging style

Really solid content, but I simply couldn't finish it because of the monotonous narration. Buy the book instead!
