To sum it up...
Chick was woken up from deep sleep bc of malfunction on space ship. She has a fear of cyborgs and I could never figure out why. She finds out her boy toy is a cyborg and flips her rocker. Then jumps ship, to earth. Where she finds out that the world isn’t how she “remembered” it being. AI and cyborgs play a big role. There is a dark side of the moon base too. The chick finds out that she is a test tube baby and has been fed info through a neuro link for years. She’s isn’t happy about any of it and that she doesn’t have a choice. But that is what she was made for.
The second book goes onto to tell about the moon base and the cause of the problems with the AI. And the chicks training. I really expected more.
The third book I couldn’t finish bc it was just reiterating the first 2 books. It was very frustrating thinking maybe, just maybe the story would go somewhere.
Will the exchange be approved? Come on audible, make me smile!

To sum it up...
She had a bounty on her head and was brought through a portal. She was forced to work in a factory until she found someone to help her escape. He agrees to help if she does what he needs. I don’t even remember what he needed, but once he got it (it wasn’t sexual) he told her that it would be better if she stayed away and he sent her back to earth. Oh and there was another magical person that became the girls friend when she first came to the factory. She helped the girl go back to earth first bc she was dying bc she didn’t have enough magic.
Refund for the book I will never listen to again? We will see, sigh...

The main character is a bit self conscious and it becomes frustrating. Anyways, here’s the sum of it...
Half human twenty something girl meets elfin dad after human mom dies, best friend of dad lays claim to girl without her knowledge (don’t worry, they work it out), they find out whom killed the grandfather, and the half girl finds out that she may actually only 3/8 human. There is a tree that the girl will have to guard when her dad can no longer do so. I think it may have been some kind of god.
I will request a refund, let’s see how it goes. Sigh...

This is what I got out of the book, beware my attention did wander quite a bit...
One guy shared evidence with everyone about his spaceship being blown up. It “started” a war, eye roll...really? Then the same guy found something else and shared that info. More people got mad and involved in this war. And then it happens again.
There was a old detective that fell in love with the idea of this girl that he was assigned to bring back to her parents even though she was an adult. A bit weird for me, but hey whatever floats your boat. He helps with the investigation with the guy who is sharing evidence with everyone.
Then there was something about a company that found something that was sent from aliens? Anyways...the company tested and kills a crap ton of people, again something about brown vomit.
So, I did not finish the book and now I hope that since I am writing out a review that when I request a refund they will give it to me. Fingers crossed that I don’t have to keep this in my library. 🤞sigh...
