The Broker

Overall
4 out of 5 stars

John Grisham is about a 5 out of 6'er. That is 5 out of every 6 books he writes are simply fantastic. The other is a clinker or a sell out. The broker is very exciting and brings us out of the courtroom to Italy. One of our favorite places in the entire world. We could picture every street every restaurant every place in Italy that we have visited. A great idea to have the story take place in an area that many of us are familiar with. The story itself is very strong and we enjoyed it very much and we hope that unlike his previous works he will bring back the central character again.

David Baldacci is growing into one of our favorite writers. Currently is books seem to run in streaks. One great one and one far from great. this is one of those great books. Continuing with characters from a previous book that was indeed one of his best. It is a wonderful exciting whodunit and we loved it. Want more from David just like this one and still feel he has not been able to out do the Millionaire.... can't wait for more.

As a James Patterson fan supreme. We loved this book and the continuation of the new "girls murder club". I hope that he continues with more works that include the girls. Very exciting and a nice change from the wonderful Alex Cross books. Love them all

We have long been fans of Sidney Sheldon, dating back to his very first book....25 years ago? It has been so long in coming and we absolutely loved it. It follows his wonderful formula of back and forth and putting all the pieces together. We sure hope he has a few more in him very soon and may he live to 120!

Disappointed!

I couldn't wait to read this book. I found it drawn out and not very much going on, very wordy until the beginning of the last book of 3. Disappointing when compared to the Puzo stuff. Wanted it to be great and it wasn't.

Everything it promised and more. Who would have thought that we would like a "religious" themed book. But we loved it so very much. It was exciting from page to page and now we cannot wait to travel to France and the UK to see the very places that were written about. #1 for 2004

Simply one of the best books of 2004. As a Floridian, we loved that it took place in areas that we know very well. It is funny as well as a wonderful story about revenge to the nth degree. Can't wait for more from Mr. Hiassen. He has waited too long to please us again.Don't miss it.
