So, I’ve seen a ton of spoilers on Instagram and tik tok, but I will say that there were still enough twists and turns in this that made it enjoyable.
I felt like about 3/4th of the book were draggy, but the ending made up for it all.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this series, and I am looking forward to getting into the rest of the books.

This was very good! The world that Christopher M. Mason has created in the town of Newbury Grove is something special!
The characters of Alice and Hugo are endearing and relatable, and the topics covered in this story are so relatable as they both try and navigate through life and the trauma that sometimes comes with it.
Laura Horowitz did a fantastic job at differentiating between characters and bringing them to life!

Sarah Grayson is the happy proprietor of Second Chance, a charming shop in the oceanfront town of North Harbor, Maine. At the shop she sells used items that she has lovingly refurbished and repurposed. But her favorite pet project so far has been adopting a stray cat she names Elvis. The big black cat with a scar across his nose turned up at a local bar when the band was playing the King of Rock and Roll's music and hopped in Sarah's truck.

I very much enjoyed this book! All of the characters were adorable and enhanced the storyline.
I couldn’t stop listening. Binged it in a day.
I will admit, I have a soft spot for animals in murder mystery novels, but especially cats, and especially black cats with green eyes (I have one named Binx.)
Elvis’s participation in this mystery was excellent!
