Story
A lot has changed since Ambrosia Wellington graduated from college, and she’s worked hard to create a new life for herself. But then an invitation to her ten-year reunion arrives in the mail, along with an anonymous note that reads, “We need to talk about what we did that night.” It seems Ambrosia’s past—and the people she thoughts she’d left there—aren’t as buried as she believed. Amb can’t stop fixating on what she did or who she did it with: larger-than-life Sloane “Sully” Sullivan, Amb’s former best friend, who could make anyone do anything.

All was well until the end
Reviewed: 03-23-25
I really enjoyed this book until the end. I don't want to say to much, but I think it should have ended differently. I do recommend the book. I think teens would enjoy it and if you want mind candy this is great. However, if you also don't like the ending, don't say I didn't warn you.

Drags on and on and on
Reviewed: 03-21-25
I really wanted to like this novel, but even the author reading it couldn't pull me in. It starts off with promise then gets weird and then drags on. Bottom line, this was not for me. Apparently some people really found all the symbolism riveting and that's good, maybe this novel is too deep for me, but I still can't bring myself to recommend it.

Story
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

I Was Immersed!!!!

First, the narrators really kicked butt on this one. Talk about pulling you completely into the story! I love to listen and read along and with this storyline and the narrators, I couldn't put this book down, which hasn't happened in a LONG time. I loved the characters and the plot. Tintera is able to weave together a story that contains serious topics with a culmination of emotions from laughter to suspense to anger to fear. It was wonderful, and I truly look forward to her next novel. I can't recommend this novel enough.

Soothingly Pulls You In

The narrator captures the voice of this story and character perfectly. I was in the story with her from beginning til end. The plot is easy to follow and get absorbed into. Quick read. Loved it! Good one for reluctant (mainly female) readers.

Bueller?? Bueller??

I was waiting for the reader's emotion to kick in and it didn't. His voice is so monotone. Maybe if the main characters were male he would have been able to get more into it. Toward the end he seem to get better and for this I gave 2 stars. Don't waste your money on this audible because I'm starting to think reading the book on my own may have been the best option (so sad I used one of my credits on this). As for the story, it was pretty good. It got interesting a little past the middle of the book. Like I said, the reader didn't help any, so maybe reading the book on its own would make it better. I mixed it up and I'm not interested enough to go back and try reading the book alone.

Story
Two sisters went missing on their class trip—Grace, the outgoing athlete who is friends with just about everyone, and Maddy, the wallflower wilting in her sister’s shadow who'd rather absorb herself in her journal than talk to her classmates. But when Grace is found—injured, with no memory of what happened—everybody thinks she’s lying. It’s hard not to look guilty with Maddy’s blood on her clothes. Desperate to save her sister—and prove her own innocence—Grace must piece together what happened on that school trip.

Great Storyline
Reviewed: 09-22-24
The storyline was great because it was a mystery which sucked you in and there were also very good lessons about moving forward and letting go of the past, as well as accepting yourself and your faults, and not blaming others or holding onto hate or grudges.
