here is my take on it. Its not his best work. I felt that there were some parts put in as filler . I have listen to 2 times now, wondering if I was missing anything the first go through. maybe both prequels should have been one book.. Maybe finish the story arc after the last book, before doing another prequel. Hey RC,I know you are booked for 2 years and that's a lot of books to do. Take a breather, before you burn yourself out...

I liked the the whole idea of a full cast. However, something like that needs to be done from the very beginning. This is not to disparage the efforts of the cast. I think they did a great job. Mad props to my home girl Kate. The problem is that R.C. Brey does an awesome job of giving voice to the characters, that when someone else does it it feels off. Now I am dating myself here. Back when the tv series Bewitch was on and they replaced, the one Darren with the other one. The whole flavor of the show was off. Other than that it was still a great novel. Hate to see it coming to the end.

RC Bray is excellent narrator. He brings the characters to life. Glad he quit his job to do this full time. He is totally awesome.
