Story
When Dr. Craig Bowman is served with a summons for medical malpractice, he's shocked, enraged, and more than a little humiliated. A devoted physician who works continuously in the service of others, he endured grueling years of training and is now a partner in an exclusive concierge medical practice. No longer forced to see more and more patients while spending less and less time with each one just to keep his office door open, he now provides the kind of medical care he is trained to do.

This is only a reflection on the recording, not the story

I got to Chapter 10 in the recording and gave up on it. There are multiple gaps in the recording of 3 or more pages from the book. I happen to own a copy of the book, so I checked it when I noticed what felt like a weird sentence in Chapter 8. Turns out, the recording jumps ahead 3 whole pages with no warning. It's a problem with the file, not the audio player. Then, there was another gap in Chapter 10 of 6 pages. I am giving up on this recording and will just read the book. I would rather not have to guess whether I'm missing huge sections of the book.

Only So-So

The narration was the only thing that kept me listening. Wonderful narration.
The story, on the other hand, was one of the most boring P&P variations I've come across. The interpretations of these well-known characters were so severe and unforgiving. Charles lacked his playfulness. Lizzy was so demure and weak. Darcy was unceasingly cold, even with the two women who soften him most, Lizzie and Georgiana. It was hard to feel the love between Lizzy and Darcy.
