As a native Nashvillian it was annoying to hear easy to verify details about the city and region that were wrong. There aren’t mountains in middle Tennessee, the closest mountains are hours away in eastern Tennessee and the main strip for tourists is Broadway - not Broadway Street. I wasn’t expecting Moby Dick level literature but this is pretty simple stuff to Google.

In Chapter 2, a character says, "If I am still allowed to say 'Nigerians' - what does that even mean? I quit listening at that point.

I've loved the Mrs. Murphy series for a long time, but even my long attachment couldn't disguise how bad this book is. It was more of a manifesto than a murder mystery. By the time I turned it off (I couldn't finish it) I had forgotten who was murdered because it became such an afterthought in the story. The last few books have been leaning this way and it's such a disappointing end to what started as a cute whodunit series.
