What did you love best about All Things Bright and Beautiful?
The stories are fantastic! They will touch your heart! You will laugh and cry but be unable to turn them off! I played this book in my office and teachers that vcme in got so interested that they did not want to leave.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Trick Whoo! The stories about him are so funny and heart warming.
Which scene was your favorite?
The way the author discribes the country side I feel like I am there.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I don't get to listen to it in all one setting. I play my audio books while at work at a high school. I share them with the teachers that come to my office to work on things. They love them and some have even joined and are purchasing the books as well.
Any additional comments?
I selected these books by James Harriot because I read them when I was younger, and I thought I remembered them, but having the read to me has been a whole new experience.

Story
From the best-selling author of Cowboys Are My Weakness comes a story of a woman, Rea, and her dog, Dante, who teaches her that love is stronger than fear. A catalyst for change in other characters as well, Dante effects the lives of Rae's house-tender, her therapist, two veterinarians, and an anxiety-ridden actor. In addition to Dante, there is also Rose, another dog, and Stanley the Cat, all of whom have something to add.

I cannot say enough about this book. I have listened to it 4 or 5 times now and every time, I enjoy it even more. It gives you a unique insight from the vets point of view, and it is good to know that the dogs we love are also truly cared for by our vets.
It is a delightful read, or should I say listen. If you love animals, you must get this one.

Story
Lad: A Dog is a novelized version of twelve short stories about a fantastic collie named Lad. Lad is a noble creature, risking life and limb in defense of the vulnerable. Many people believe Lad: A Dog was the basis for the highly popular "Lassie" series which gripped the imagination of children and adults alike, as has this book for generations past.
