Story
The battle between vicious spirits and strong-willed queens that started in The Queen of Blood and continued in the powerful The Reluctant Queen comes to a conclusion in The Queen of Sorrow, the final volume of the Queens of Renthia trilogy. Queen Daleina has yearned to bring peace and prosperity to her beloved forest home - a hope that seemed doomed when neighboring forces invaded Aratay. Now, Daleina believes that her dream of ushering in a new era can be realized, even in a land plagued by malevolent nature spirits who thirst for the end of human life.

Story
Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father, the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent, but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns into an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: Nothing is what it seems.

Hanna is the station captain's pampered daughter, Nik the reluctant member of a notorious crime family. I am a recovering alcoholic. I know how it affects family, friendships and when being sober can touch other peoples lives. This book made me feel like there was more than possibly known. It actually made me laugh out loud. I startled several people and had to explain the book. I loved it. A true story of how acceptance, forgiveness, time, love and letting go of resentments is an amazing way of living.

Toss together a quiet barista with a not-so-lawful side-business, a crazy Vietnam Vet, a pothead, a drag queen, family and friends who will not mind their own business, a few stun guns, and a bag of diamonds, and mix them all up with some shootings, a high-speed chase and car bombs exploding, then hang on for your first wild Rock Chick ride.
