Story
Sixteen-year-old Day Connor views life through the lens of her camera, where perspective is everything. But photographs never tell the whole story. After Day crosses paths with Julian, the world she pictures and the truths she believes - neatly captured in black and white - begins to blur. Julian is not the "armed and dangerous" escapee the police are searching for, but his alibis don't quite add up, either. There is more to his story. This time, Day is determined to see the entire picture...whatever it reveals. Did he? Or didn't he?

Really!!

I liked the book. The story was good even though the main characters were teens. I did not like how the ending was left open for questions.

Loved it

The story was good and I was surprised at the end. I thought I had it figured out but was shocked by the twist. My one complaint though was the constant intake of breath by the narrator. Not sure if this was on purpose or just bad editing but it made it hard to listen to at times. That being said I still loved the story.

In this pulse-pounding short thriller for fans of Big Little Lies and The Last Mrs. Parrish, Maggie Cabot refuses to sit by idly as police re-open an investigation into the mysterious death of a woman her husband used to know. After two decades in a near-perfect marriage, Maggie and James Cabot are enjoying their first year as empty-nesters in their charming Florida suburb, until two detectives arrive at their front door and change their lives forever.

The story was good even though I figured out the killer by the 4th chapter.
