Story
The story that made Agatha Christie famous ends with one of her most dramatic twists. The villagers of King’s Abbot are shocked when a wealthy local widow commits suicide and the very next day her fiancé, Roger Ackroyd, is stabbed to death. Dr. James Sheppard, the local physician, discovers the body of his friend and narrates the ensuing hunt for the killer. All the guests and staff at Ackroyd's country house seem to have solid alibis - except for his missing stepson.

Characters well developed and interesting 🤔 especially his sister. I feel sad for her coming sorrow. Starting out as the butler did it but no,
Agatha had a brilliant entertaining mind.

Story
Should I Stay or Should I Go? is a survival manual, a guidebook, and a shot of reality. Some people will never change, and kissing frogs is the stuff of fairy tales, not real life. The Beast never turns out to be a nice guy (or gal). This is a book that breaks down what mean people do to us, how they do it, and what we can do to survive.

Dr Ramani brought light into my almost 50 years of marriage.
It’s essentially sad that the loving emotionally intimate relationship won’t come for me, but the last chapter made me feel like life is still worth living and I could incorporate this phase of my life into a meaningful lesson that brings strength and confidence and self love.

Story
Hugh Prentice has never had patience for dramatic females, and if Lady Sarah Pleinsworth has ever been acquainted with the words shy or retiring, she's long since tossed them out the window. Sarah has never forgiven Hugh for the duel he fought three years earlier, the one that forced her cousin into exile, nearly destroying her family. But when the pair is forced to spend a week in close company, they discover that first impressions are not always reliable. And when one kiss leads to two, three, and four, the mathematician may lose count, and the lady may, for the first time, find herself speechless.

Story and characters where very good.
The dialogue went on and on I skipped forward constantly. Book could and should have been a couple of hours shorter.
Much to do about her little sisters at play, fighting, etc. Their interaction with the main characters. Their musings about who fancies who.
And much to do about the annual musical’.
To much to do about nothing.
1st book in the series a little better. I’m skipping the last!
I would recommend an abridge edition, then buy it.

Rosalind is to take up residence in Melbourne House, posing as Lady Melbourne's confidential secretary. There, she must discover the thief and regain possession of the letters.
