Story
Leanna Chupp has always made her own way in her small community of Birch Creek. Though some may call her unconventional - strange, even - Leanna is passionate about her faith. Her unique outlook on life has meant she's never had many suitors pursuing courtship, but she is happy being single and believes she always will be. But when Roman and Leanna find themselves working together again, everything changes. Neither of them fit squarely within the strictures of the Amish faith, but could their differences be the one thing that helps them?

Accents?

Love the story and I have enjoyed other books narrated by Callie Beaulieu, BUT this was just short of annoying with the wavering accents.
At times she went from sounding country to sounding Irish within the same few conversations.

Not my favorite, but still enjoyed the story.

I have purchased all of the angels books. And while I really enjoy Debbie Macomber's books and did like this story, I was disappointed with the angel's behaviors in this one. They were beyond mischievous!
What I enjoyed the least in this one was the Angel Gabriel's voice, I could never have imagined he would sound like that!

Story
Bess Samson was raised in privilege, but always had a thing for Cade Hollister, the rough-and-tumble cowboy next door, even ignoring her controlling, class-conscious mother's warning to stay away from him. But he turned her down - hard. Humiliated, she grew up and moved on, but never truly gave up hope. Cade has secretly always adored Bess - but is filled with disdain for the Samsons' wealth. Once, the families had been friends, until dark secrets and scandal caused a bitter rift..

The story and performance were great. The only problem for me was the graphic amour.

Story
This is a time for families, for togetherness, for memories. On Christmas Eve, Maryanne and Nolan Adams tell their kids the story they most want to hear — how Mom and Dad met and fell in love. It all started when they were reporters on rival Seattle papers…and next thing you know, Here Comes Trouble!

If it weren't for wanting to hear the story I would have stopped listening.
I did not enjoy her male voices, especially the main character. He sounded like an old smoker, which I could not transform into a handsome young man in my imagination!
