Brant and Sherri are smart, funny, witty, uplifting, theologically knowledgeable, wise, the best friends we all pray to have. Listening to their show brings me hope and direction, and helps me to be a better follower of Christ, spouse, parent, daughter and friend. And they make me laugh. A lot :D

As always, Jerry is very funny and relatable. I love how he points out the absurdities in our daily lives.

Like a comedian without enough talent who just laces the act with profanity for a cheap laugh, Whelan throws in crude sexual references. She does have writing talent and should be confident enough to leave out the cheap sex. Eye-rolling and over the top descriptions of everything. Too caricatured.

I have had delightful visits to penguin colonies in South America and have seen penguins swim in the waters of Antarctica. I loved hearing about the Ad֎lie colonies on land in Antarctica. Wonderful story of love and resiliency in both the human and penguin population:)

Springtime in Salt River had an okay story but was filled with unnecessary gratuitous sex that birds me and I fast forwarded through. Love Thine Enemy was much better. The story was interesting and the author didn't use cheap sex scene filler.

This book is depressing and disjointed. A large percentage is devoted to death, dying, and sadness.
Also, her statements regarding her liberal politics were unnecessary and disappointing to the half of the animal-loving population who are conservative.
With her years of experience as a veterinarian, this could have been filled with interesting stories that were not all so depressing. It seemed to be a lot about her and a sort of catharsis for her.
